1. Acceptance of Terms & Definitions

By accessing or using the GarageVo website (garagevo.co.uk), creating an account, or submitting a service booking, you agree to be legally bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Notice.

• “Platform” refers to the GarageVo software-as-a-service application, APIs, and directory.
• “Garage Operator” refers to verified automotive repair and MOT workshops registered on the platform.
• “Motorist” refers to any individual or business booking vehicle maintenance, servicing, or MOT tests.
• “Booking” refers to a service appointment requested by a Motorist and accepted by a Garage Operator.

3. Garage Operator Accounts & Standards

Garage Operators registering on GarageVo warrant and represent that:

• All provided business, address, and VAT information is truthful and current.
• They hold all necessary UK qualifications, MOT Authorised Examiner certifications, and public liability insurance.
• Published service pricing accurately reflects workshop costs and includes UK VAT where applicable.
• They maintain their workshop calendar and promptly review or confirm booking requests.
• All user accounts are subject to Super Admin verification prior to public directory listing on the national marketplace.

4. Motorist Bookings & Payment

When submitting a booking enquiry through the marketplace:

• Booking requests are subject to workshop availability and garage confirmation. A request does not constitute a binding reservation until confirmed by the workshop.
• Pay-at-Workshop: Payment for automotive services is settled directly with the workshop upon completion of work, unless a separate arrangement has been made with the garage.
• Cancellations: Motorists are kindly requested to give at least 24 hours notice for cancellations to allow workshops to reallocate ramp time.

5. Acceptable Use Policy

You agree not to use the platform for any unlawful purpose or in any way that interrupts or damages platform functionality. Prohibited activities include:

• Submitting false or fictitious vehicle registrations, identities, or booking requests.
• Attempting to bypass security challenges, rate limits, or authorization controls.
• Scraping directory listings or copying workshop catalogues without express written permission.
• Transmitting malicious scripts, spam, or unsolicited marketing to registered garages.

6. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by English law:

• GarageVo shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential losses, or any loss of profits, business, or vehicle availability arising from repairs carried out by independent workshops.
• Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury resulting from negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or any other liability which cannot be excluded under applicable UK law.
• For registered Garage Operators, our aggregate liability arising under or in connection with the platform in any 12-month period shall not exceed the subscription fees actually paid to GarageVo during that period.

7. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms and any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with them (including non-contractual disputes or claims) shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. The courts of England and Wales shall have exclusive jurisdiction to settle any dispute.
